Thank you for considering our property for your stay. We want to ensure that you have a great time during your stay, and it is Important that you are aware of the following information, please read carefully as it will definitively ensure that your stay is more enjoyable: • Your Retro Hideaway Home is accessed only by stairs, as the property is located on a Cala (Cap), the property is not recommended with people with mobility issues. • Parking: There is an assigned parking on the parking lot on the address provided for your arrival, please note that we have an additional address that provides you with street parking as well, most of the year. If you park on the address provided for your arrival, please note that there are two set of stairs to access the property (one to your right made of tiles and cement and one to your left made of iron), please use the one that feels the most comfortable to you. • Guests are responsible for their own safety at all times. Walk with caution on wet surfaces. Do not go barefoot at any time. Be especially careful on hallways and pool area. • The property has a very strict no parties/events policy to keep the noise levels to what is required by community. • While Spain is one of the safest countries on earth and due to “OKUPAS" (trespassers taking residence in your home) we have installed a security and alarm system: Doorbell with video and one camera on the terrace. We have also installed motion and contact detectors and a sophisticated alarm system that you will be required to operate during your stay, we will provide you with your own unique access code. We don't usually monitor the cameras while the guests are in-house only when empty. • Please always refrain from using loud radios, CD players or any devices that may cause nuisance to other guests on the nearby homes. • Please comply with the municipality noise restrictions during quiet times, the community enforces these restrictions and neighbors may reach out to local authorities if any complain arises. • We will not accept liability for services provided by external companies. • It is the guest’s responsibility to keep all doors and windows locked every time they leave your unit and to set up the alarm before you go to bed and every time you leave the premises. • The Property will not be responsible for any loss of money, jewelry, or any other valuables on the property. • Please notice that smoking is not permitted within the property. Smoking in the units will result in a fine of 200EUR to cover cleaning and sanitizing costs. • The maximum number of people allowed in the property is seven (7) persons at any given time. We really appreciate your compliance to avoid incurring in situations with the local authorities. • Guests are responsible for the behavior and safety of their children at all times and must ensure that their children do not disturb other guests at homes nearby or cause damage to the property. • Please note that pets are not allowed on property. • Guests accept charges in relation to inventory items damaged or lost, discovered after their departure. There is a 150-euro refundable fee that would cover any items lost or damaged. As you may notice, we have taken great care with the décor of the house and some of the elements are fragile. We kindly request your cooperation in protecting these items. • The property is operated by a keyless entry system, you will be provided with your own unique access code on the day of your arrival, this code will only be valid to use during your stay during the check in and check out hours. • Once you are on the property you will find a small clicker next to the TV (on a green ceramic container), this clicker is to gain access to the gate that leads to the beach. Please make sure to leave this clicker in the container you found it upon your departure so that the next guests can easily find it. • Please make sure that you lift the terrace awnings every night prior going to sleep as if there’s wind or rain during the night, the whole system may break down and harm the glass panels and you and your guests. • When using our amazing terrace, please make sure that you don’t close the terrace door all the way, to avoid getting locked out. • Please shut down doors and windows if you use the air conditioning units to avoid condensation. • • Check in Time is 16:00pm • Check Out Time Is 10:00am. • There are several outlets that are marked with notes of “DO NOT REMOVE”, “DO NOT UNPLUG”, “DO NOT DISCONNECT”. That equipment is vital for the property functioning of the property and we kindly request that you adhere to those notices. • Please note that the alarm system is very sensitive and that note OF THE ALARM EQUIPMENT CAN’T BE REMOVED, DISCONNECTED OR TAMPERED WITH AS IT WILL TRIGGER THE ALARM AND THE SYSTEM WILL IMMEDIATELY CALL THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES. There will be a mandatory fine of 200 EUROS for each alarm equipment that is tampered with, this means that if you remove or tamper with one equipment the fine is 200 euros, two equipment the fine is 400 euros and so forth. • Check out is easy: o Just make sure to take all your belongings, we are not responsible for any lost items. o Remove any trash that you may have accumulated during your stay. Please don’t leave dirty dishes. We have trash disposal sites located on the streets of both entrances to the building. o PLEASE SET UP THE ALARM PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT REQUEST. You will be provided with your own unique alarm code. o We appreciate you leaving the house as organized as possible to ease the transition for incoming guests. o PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO SHUT DOWN SOME OF THE ELECTRIC OUTLETS OF THE BREAKER BOX LOCATED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MAIN DOOR AS YOU EXIT THE APARTMENT. (Instructions will be provided). As you know we have an ongoing energy crisis, and we are trying to avoid electricity over usage while the property is not in use. Please make sure that all doors, windows, and metal doors are properly closed upon your departure.
